Situated in the centre of Portugal there are beaches that seem to go on forever, beautiful scenery, picturesque villages and leisure activities. The sky is blue most of the time, the countryside is green and the weather is mild enough to enjoy all year round.

Until fairly recently the Silver Coast was one of Portugal’s best kept secrets, a place of hidden treasures known only to a few. But over the last few years the charm of the Silver Coast – and its relatively low prices – has attracted more tourists who prefer holidays away from the crowds.

With the Atlantic on its doorstep the Silver Coast is the place to come for seafood. The wines are great too - ranging from drinkable, inexpensive table wine to one of Portugal’s rarest and most expensive labels. Visit markets and monasteries, countryside and culture, beaches and do some bargain-hunting, there are of course many activities for all ages.

In 2012 some B&B’s decided to start working together in offering accommodation for staying in the Silver Coast region. All are situated around the city of Caldas da Rainha which is in the middle of the Silver Coast region. They also offer accommodation in the city of Lisbon and Obidos.

By working together the Associação can accommodate larger groups and competitive prices. All the B&B’s involved offer a range in possibilities to enjoy your stay in the Silver Coast. The Associação offers you her expert knowledge on the Silver Coast region and can organize many events such as wine tastings, tours, hiking, cycling, watersports, golf, fado-night etc.
